working a conference and I’m being completely wasted. bored as hell.

so. yeah. question for you: what percentage of your job is completely wasted time?

for me I’d say about 40

Depends on the day. If I’m in the office, I’ll probably spend about 50-70% of my time trying my best not to call someone a fucking idiot and spend about 10% complaining about how fucking idiotic some of the people I work with are. If I’m out in the field , I’m too happy breaking shit to care about the fuck face in the control room.

Most of my day is spent in meetings preparing for meetings where we discuss things with people before we talk about the same things with other people.

For me, my schedule works out to about 50% wasted time , 45% doing something anybody could do, and 5% earning my entire salary and bonuses and then some.
